During the 1980's, a nearly indecipherable signal, known as "the Fermi Paradox," was received from deep space. Although natural explanations for this signal have been found, it has been suggested that extraterrestrial technology may be at play. One such device said to be responsible for the strange signals is an unknown “space weapon” called a "navigational penetrator." In 1973, a classified document released by the US Air Force was discovered by accident. According to the document, "penetrators" were devices used for deep space travel. They travel along a track until they encounter an obstacle, which they then alter their course to avoid. The penetrators were said to be capable of maneuvering clear around planets and even stars without deviation. It is said that the penetrator was directed toward Earth by an alien race called “the Fermi” located in a galaxy known as “the Milky Way”, which lies an estimated 26 billion light-years from Earth. It is believed that the penetrator took over 100 years to make this journey and will reach its destination in the year 2049. In 1984, a man named Chen Ji was arrested for manufacturing "penetrators," a machine he claimed he had built from salvage parts. The Penetrator project has been financially supported by the United States government and its scientists have been working on it since the late 1960s. The project has been completed at least one other time in history, but due to reasons that are unknown, the project was destroyed just before the 2049 date of arrival. Only one other subject is known to have been involved with this project before today's incident: Mr. Philip Mulrooney. He was assigned to this mission and worked with Dr. Wolfgang von Gerlach on the technology required to analyze and redesign the low-density atmosphere of a planet. The goal of the mission was to gain a better understanding of how to manipulate those that surround us. The mission had been scheduled for launch in November of 2029, but was postponed due to an incident involving Mr. Philip Mulrooney and his "penetrator" model, as well as a strange occurrence involving a lake near Philip's home village in Austria which apparently disturbed satellite communication near the area leading up to the launch date. The scientists involved with this project have been forbidden from talking about it by their superiors, although given enough time, they will provide details given certain restrictions are met. The Fermi Paradox was named after the noted scientist Enrico Fermi (1901-1994), who contributed to the development of nuclear energy and quantum theory. The "Fermi Paradox" is a concept postulating that advanced aliens exist, yet we have seen no evidence of their existence. The paradox is an extrapolation and logical extension of the logical and empirical findings that follow from observations and experiments: that there are many alive worlds in our galaxy, and many more galaxies in the universe, and that life is abundant within each one. cfa1e77820
